Lusean is a Stockholm-based artist who crafts cinematic electronic music that lives between emotion and experimentation. His debut album, Birth, is a sonic exploration of transformation; a reflection on confusion, revelation, awakening, love, and finding calm.

His journey into music began at 15, when he picked up a guitar and started experimenting with early digital instruments. What began as curiosity quickly turned into obsession: an endless search for new ways to shape and generate sound. Over the years, he immersed himself in the world of synthesis, developing a deep fascination with texture-rich sound design and the emotional possibilities of electronic music.

His approach to composition is intuitive and layered, he builds songs from sound itself, constructing evolving sonic landscapes where rhythm, melody, and texture coexist. His music is eclectic and atmospheric, guided by a love for odd rhythms and intricate detail. The result is a sound that is ambient yet powerful, melancholic yet uplifting, inviting listeners to sit, listen, and imagine.

Deeply inspired by the pioneering work of Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream, whom he listened to for hours on vinyl, his influences later expanded to include The Chemical Brothers, Aphex Twin, and Caribou, and more recently, Jon Hopkins, Rival Consoles, and Max Cooper. These artists’ boundary-pushing approaches to rhythm and melody shaped his own vision of what electronic music can be: emotional, narrative-driven, and endlessly evolving.

Living between Sweden and Spain has given his music a dual identity: Nordic introspection meets Mediterranean aliveness. Sweden offered the quiet and space for deeper storytelling and reflection, while Spain fueled a sense of spontaneity and creative freedom.

His sound is not conventional. It is big, textured, and cinematic, at times melancholic, at times joyful, often confusing, much like life itself. Through his music, he seeks to tell stories without words, creating immersive emotional journeys where each track feels like a scene from an unwritten film.

Looking ahead, Lusean continues to explore rhythm and narrative through sound, expanding the boundaries of electronic composition and inviting listeners into ever more intricate sonic worlds.
